Description

Potassium ferrocyanide or potassium hexacyanoferrate (II) trihydrate is a salt of the complex anion ferrocyanide and the potassium cation. At room temperature, it appears as a light yellow, odorless solid.

It is used in analytical testing, including as Drabkin’s reagent for quantitative and qualitative hemoglobin tests.
