The main ingredient is silicon dioxide; as it contains no cobalt chloride, it is a harmless, pollution-free product that retains the color-changing properties typical of indicating silica gel based on the amount of moisture absorbed.

It is primarily used as a moisture-indicating desiccant in precision instruments, medicine, gasoline chemical processing, food, clothing, leather, electrical appliances, the gas industry, and more.

It can be used alone or in combination with fine-pore silica gel.
