Used in the manufacture of unsaturated polyester resin (UPR), alkyd resins, PET resin, polyurethane systems, concrete and grinding additives, lubricant additives, textile additives, agrochemicals and biocides, inks and solvents, automotive fluids (antifreeze, brake fluid, etc.), polyethylene glycols, pigments and dyes, among others. Diethylene glycol is a clear, hygroscopic, and odorless liquid.
