Description

Reddish-brown globules; balsamic, vanilla scent. Soluble in alcohol
, insoluble in water. Used in perfumery as a perfume fixative, in
cosmetics and medicine to treat eczema and acne due to its
antiseptic and healing effect on the skin. It is also
added to toothpaste to treat oral conditions.
