Description

Fluid oleoresin, dark brown, slightly fluorescent, without crystalline or granular appearance, with a characteristic odor. Turpentines are conifer balsams, more or less fluid plant secretions. It is a resinous oil product obtained from various trees. Likewise, certain variations in its qualities may occur due to seasonal changes that the trees undergo, affecting the amount of solvent contained in the sap. It is known as Venice Turpentine because it was the city where it was commercialized in antiquity, but currently all turpentines are good for work, regardless of the country of origin. The tree from which it is extracted is the Larch or Fir.
