Description

Sodium carbonate, or sodium carbonate, is a white, translucent salt with the chemical formula Na2CO3, used, among other things, in the manufacture of soap, glass and dyes. It is commonly known as barilla, natron, Solway soda, Solvay soda, soda ash, soda ash and soda (not to be confused with caustic soda).
