Collagen is the basic structural protein of skin tissues; given its affinity with human skin and its molecular configuration, when applied as part of creams or emulsions, it stimulates hydration and creates a film that protects skin tissues from the aggressiveness of environmental agents. Provides firmness and smoothness to the dermis. Topical application of this cosmetic active ingredient provides hydration and protection against external agents.

Typical usage dose: 0.5 – 2%.
