Description

Stearin is a rigid white wax used primarily as an additive to paraffin to increase the shrinkage capacity of candles in the mould. It is a non-toxic additive that increases the opacity and hardness of candles and is harmless to the touch. It is advisable to use only 10%, i.e. one part stearin to every 10 parts paraffin.
