Also known as Super Absorbent or SAP (super absorbent polymer). It is a white, odourless powder.
Its volume can increase up to a thousand times when distilled water is added. Due to these qualities, it is used in nappies, sanitary towels or in chemical processes that require water absorption.

Due to its high molecular weight, instead of dissolving, it forms a gel and has the unique characteristic of resembling snow to the naked eye, which makes it suitable for creating artificial snow.
