Description

Ethyl ether is a colorless liquid with a characteristic odor, less dense than water and insoluble in it. It tends to generate peroxides in the presence of light and air. Widely used as a solvent for fats, oils, waxes, resins, gums. It is used in model aircraft combustion engines and as a solvent in Wet Collodion Photographic Techniques
